At the beginning of week fourteen, you will be in the second trimester. Here, you will likely find an increase in energy, the beginning of your baby bump, and less nausea wreaking havoc on your days.

By now, you’ve had an ultrasound that showed you a closer look inside your uterus, you’ve been able to hear your baby’s heartbeat with a Doppler, and hopefully you have begun to bond with the life inside of you.

Some mothers-to-be are able to feel the first “flutter” around seventeen weeks. By the end of the second trimester, at twenty-five weeks, you will be able to count the kicks regularly!
